This statement discloses the policies for the Cupids.com.au web site and Cupids Scribe, Representatives and affiliates including our resellers and authorised franchises. E&OE; By using this site and / or paying any monies you are indicating that you agree to the following terms and conditions, regardless of whether you have read, understood or find them acceptable.

Cupids Scribe and your privacy

At Cupids Scribe we respect your right to privacy and we understand that, as a visitor to Cupids.com.au, you would prefer that your personal information is not not shared or sold to other parties. Because Cupids Scribe wants to demonstrate its commitment to your privacy, we have disclosed our security policy and our privacy policy.

Cupids Scribe does not offer or allow the selling or passing on of any user-provided information to third parties. We will guard the personal information you share with us to ensure the content, services, and any advertising that we provide on Cupids.com.au are always tailored to your current, designated preferences.

When you provide Cupids Scribe with your name (or others), e-mail address, mailing address, or telephone number, and you do not 'opt out,' Cupids Scribe and its representatives and affiliates may use the provided information to alert you to new products, special offers, updated information, and other information. Representatives and affiliates may include our resellers and authorised franchises. Beyond its representatives and affiliates, Cupids Scribe does not offer or allow the selling or passing on of any user-provided information to third parties.

We may ask you to register or to provide personal information and preferences when you visit certain areas of Cupids.com.au, download software, request information, or subscribe to our newsletter. If you choose not to register or provide personal information, you can still visit the Cupids.com.au web site; however, you will not have access to areas that require personal identification nor are we likely to respond to emails that do not provide sufficient details.

Cupids respects the rights users give us when opting to receive e-mail communications. It is our objective to retain the long-term ability to continue to communicate with our clients. If you do not want Cupids Scribe or our representatives to contact you, you may "opt out" of this preference at any time, whether you're online or contacting Cupids Scribe directly.

If you choose not to register or provide personal information, you can still visit the Cupids.com.au web site; however, you will not have access to areas that require personal identification.

Cupids Scribe also utilises sever log files and tracking on our web site. Once you enter our site, information is collected about the click stream path. Examples of information being collected by the sever and the hosted tracking include where the visit originated, the number of times the site was visited, and the paths to pages visited and where the site was exited. Cupids Scribe uses the data collected from web site tracking in aggregate form only and does not collect any personally identifiable information. Use of this information helps us better understand what users are seeking and learning at our web site and helps us identify potential navigation issues.

Purchasing Online. If you make a purchase online, and you provide Cupids Scribe with your credit card details (or other payment details), we route all transactions through SSL (Secure Socket Layers). This information is only stored on the database until the order and payment is secured, whereby this information is removed from the online database. The SSL transaction does not retain your credit card number subsequent to the transaction at hand. Your personal information and payment details are securely stored for statutory taxation purposes locally.

Samples. Generally Cupids Scribe offers samples free of charge. However a small charge may be applied to cover handling and freight at our discretion. You will advised if a charge is to be applied. Samples are not to be considered as proofs or drafts.

Errors and Omissions. Cupids Scribe does not take responsibility for , nor shall be liable for incidental or consequential damages or loss as a result of errors or omissions after the original draft has been approved by an individual, customer or parties thereof, OR as a result of errors or omissions that correspond with the information supplied by an individual, customer or parties thereof. Please see how to return an order. If your return is not the result of our error, the shipping cost of that returned item will be deducted from your refund.

Payment of a Deposit. A deposit of not less than 20% of total order value unless otherwise agreed must be paid prior to ordering of papers, goods or commencement of work. Cupids Scribe reserves the right to change this amount at any time without notice.

Full Payment. Payment terms will be determined by Cupids Scribe and are generally cash on delivery (COD). Cupids Scribe will seek to recover costs if full payment is not received upon completion of the sale. Cupids Scribe may withhold goods or services until full payment is received. All prices quoted include goods and services tax (GST) and are in Australian Dollars.

Late submissions, booking or sale. All final design changes, names or address, or other pertinent information must be supplied by the deadlines agreed. Late submissions, late bookings or late sales may incur additional charges or penalties of time. Cupids Scribe reserves the right to change the deadlines at any time. Cupids Scribe does not take responsibility for, nor shall be liable for incidental or consequential damages or loss as a result of an individual, customer or parties thereof not meeting their deadlines. (Please remember that not meeting our deadlines will inconvenience others.)

Ownership. Goods remain the property of Cupids Scribe until full payment is received. Cupids Scribe may use your or our designs for advertising or as samples or offer for sale. Any trademark, design or copyright remains the sole property of Cupids Scribe or our respective manufacturers or suppliers.

Refunds. Refunds will be paid with 30 days of the determination that a refund is to be paid by Cupids Scribe. We ask you to indicate the method by which you wish to be refunded. Certain forms of payment, including credit card payments will require that we refund via the providers method of refunding monies. Refunds that have exchange rate variations will be paid at the rate that the order was credited to our account. You may have other legal rights, but in no case shall Cupids Scribe's liability exceed the price for the defective item. If your return is not the result of our error, the shipping cost of that returned item will be deducted from your refund.

If something is wrong with an order that is being fulfilled by Cupids Scribe, we certainly want to help you.

Reviewing, Changing & Canceling your Order. For orders that have already been shipped, you can confirm the date and method of shipment, an estimated date of arrival, and a tracking number, if applicable by sending an email or by phoning / faxing us directly.

You can make changes to orders from Cupids Scribe that have not yet been ordered upon our supplier or have not entered the shipping process for items in stock. You cannot change the details for orders already shipped. Due to the volume of packages shipped each day, it is impossible to locate and make changes to any package once it has entered the shipping process. If this is the case then follow the instructions for returning an order. If canceling an order a cancellation fee will be charged of not less than 20% of the total job value or any deposit value will be forfeited upon cancellation of an order as soon as ordering upon our supplier, of paper, goods or commencement of work has taken place. Once work has commenced the charge will correspond to the amount of work completed. We will pay the return shipping cost if the cancellation is a result of our error. If your return is not the result of our error, the shipping cost of that returned item will be deducted from your refund.

Damaged or defective item. If the item has a damaged or defective part, we recommend that you contact Cupids Scribe as soon as possible , via email or phone/ fax. We ask you to indicate the number of items damaged and any obvious reason for the damage or defect, also whether you would like a refund or a replacement item sent to you. We will pay the shipping cost for a replacement item. Every effort is made to ensure accuracy. However if Cupids Scribe is at fault, your sole remedy in the event of such an occurrence will be that Cupids Scribe will, at its option, replace any defective material that is returned intact or refund the money paid for the defective item upon returning intact. You may have other legal rights, but in no case shall Cupids Scribe's liability exceed the price for the defective item.

Returning an order. If you receive the wrong item or an item you didn't order we recommend that you contact Cupids Scribe as soon as possible , via email or phone/ fax. We ask you to indicate the number of items you're returning, as well as whether they arrived instead of or in addition to items that you did order.

Pack the items along with the packing slip (receipt) securely in a box. You can use the box the items arrived in or another box, if you prefer.
Affix the shipping label to the outside of the box and follow our instructions for delivery back to Cupids Scribe.

We will also ask you whether you need a refund or a replacement sent to you. In addition, we will only issue partial refunds for the return of certain items, including:

Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Any item that is was modified, printed or manufactured specifically for an order (printed stationery, bomboniere etc.) that is not a result of our error.
Any item that has obvious signs of use.
Any chocolates or confectionery that has been opened (taken out of its packaging or wrap).
Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts.

We'll also pay the return shipping cost if the return is a result of our error.

Missing items. Check the packing slip that was included with your shipment to ensure that the item is not on backorder. We recommend that you contact Cupids Scribe as soon as possible , via email or phone/ fax if you are missing an item . We ask you to indicate the number of items you're missing, as well as whether other or substitute items arrived instead of the items that you did order. We will also ask you whether you need a refund or an item replacement to be sent to you. Sometimes in order to supply your order quickly and efficiently, we may have split your order into multiple shipments or packages, which we would indicate on the packing slip. If the missing item is located in the shipping process, or was not supplied by Cupids Scribe, rest assured that you will not be charged any additional shipping costs beyond those you had originally authorised.

Order not received. If you have not yet received your order at all and think that you should have by now, we recommend that you contact Cupids Scribe as soon as possible , via email or phone/ fax. We will endeavor to find updated availability information, estimated delivery dates, and even shipment tracking numbers when the carrier has made them available. If the order is lost in the shipping process, rest assured that you will not be charged any additional costs for replacement beyond those you had originally authorised.

Inability to Supply. Cupids Scribe does not accept responsibility for, nor shall be liable for incidental or consequential damages or loss as a result of inability to supply due to unforeseen circumstances, acts of God, flood, fire, power outages, war, riots, strikes, sabotage, terrorist action, or illness.

You can help Cupids Scribe maintain the accuracy of your personal information by notifying us when you change your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, or your content preferences. If at any time you wish to update your information or preferences, or you prefer to stop receiving communication from Cupids Scribe, feel free to contact us at any time.
